Help Your Inner Self And Motivate Yourself For Greatness

January 1st, 2010

There are 3 basic element to change your life, you need to ask, believe and receive the new life, you also need to live your new life, just don’t imagine it but really believe and feel that your life has changed, you should set specific goals, create plans, but the most important is to always stay positive and be grateful for the things you have. Your mind is a very powerful device that can create form nothing. If you believe and really feel the new positive actions coming into your life then they will. This doesn’t over night you need to practice and block out negativity and continue to be positive.
When you create your life’s new plan remember it is a journey and you need to act like you are living this journey using your thoughts and imagination, and see the vision as if you are there in this new life. To stop the negativity you need to think of something positive quickly, think of a pet, listen to music, start thinking of the opposite of the negative thought.
When planning a personal development plan you need to alter your life style and career path. Defining a personal development plan would mean altering the career path life cycle. If you develop a personal plan and believe in it, and practice this and see yourself in this new plan it will be only a matter of time before in comes in reality. will be only a matter a time. A good plan will also act as a performance assessment tool and a blueprint of all your day-to-day operations.
When trying to motivate yourself the only way to really make this happen is to believe that you are already living in this new life. Do not let outside negative thoughts stop you from your dreams and being positive, nothing happens by coincidence, people do not have more luck or less luck, it you believe you are lucky you will be lucky if you believe you are unlucky you will be unlucky. The best way to motivate yourself is to by motivational books and videos, read them all the time watch the videos and be grateful for the things you have and what you are going to receive.
Everybody has one or another personal aspect to improve and better and hence a personal development coaching business could be a good idea as not only will you be making money, you will be helping so many individuals develop and improve their skills.
There are lots of self declared gurus on the internet as well as in the book stores who want you to follow such rigid routines and they are not actually interested in helping you but want you to continue following them so that you become dependent on them and thus, be able to use you as a predictable source of income. Oh sure, I liked to believe that I was in control of myself, but why then was I not able to motivate myself if I did indeed have so much control. The speaker is able to tap into your emotions.
You get so caught up in “what if” that you end up not doing anything. Furthermore, they have the nerve to complain and cry about it when they are doing nothing to try to better their situation.

Practising Lucid Dreaming As A Method Of Exercising Control Over The Subconscious

December 22nd, 2009

For the Law of Attraction, as presented in the video, “The Secret,” to work optimally, one needs to exercise mental control over both the conscious and sub-conscious mind. While many would say they can’t be held accountable for what they dream, much evidence would suggest that not only does one have control over their dreams, but that it may be a key component in mastering your intent upon what may the most important level.
The practice of realizing one is dreaming and exercising control over those dreams has been known as lucid dreaming since named thus around 1910 by Frederik Van Eeden, a Dutch psychiatrist who studied dreams after the initial discoveries made in the 19th century by Frenchman, Hervey Saint-Denys. However, the experience of these remarkable dreams has been recounted in literature as far back as the 5th century dreams of Gennadius, as told to St. Augustine.
Often associated with the experience of the divine, all the major religions of the world have, at some point in their development, accepted lucid dreaming as a sign of piety or ability. Since the 8th century, the ability to exercising dram control has been an absolute requirement of Buddhist monks on their way to enlightenment. Though a cornerstone of early Christianity, it became somewhat suspect in the Dark Ages throughout medieval Europe.
Whether the dreams are visitations of the gods or not, the ability to interact in a meaningful way with ones own sub-conscious mind with their conscious faculties intact is a powerful tool that allows you to really get a good idea as to the vast resources of memory and imagination that one is working with. By achieving dream control, one is able to confront negativity and turn it around into a hope for the future. Just as the waking mind can be trained, so can the world of dreams.
Practically, many people accidentally find themselves able to awake from a bad dream they don’t like, or are capable of realizing they’re not in any danger from a nightmare, realizing it’s, “just a dream.” It is a much smaller proportion of people who realize they can creatively control how the dream is played out. Nonetheless, anyone is capable of lucid dreaming. Like learning to banish negative thought from your own intentions to avoid attracting more, it can be done with a great deal of practice.
Of course, if one doesn’t actually remember their dreams, that’s the first start. The first step to remembering dreams is to stop taking medications to sleep or wake. A great many medications interfere with the normal action of your mind. Consult with a physician before going off any psychoactive medications, but these are often a barrier to exploring the world of your sub-conscious mind.
The next step is to give yourself a command to remember your dreams when you’re drifting off to sleep every night. The act of giving yourself a command and making that the last thing you think about every day will very soon – often within a week or two (though sometime up to a month may pass in some individuals) – yield results. Concentrating upon your dreaming state is very much akin to the Power of Attraction. You are literally calling your dreams to you just as you might “call” a new car or better house into your life.
This is very often accompanied by keeping a journal of what you dream. The exercise not only keeps a record of your progress, but also assists with recall so you can reliably get through he whole dream when you wake up since you’ve been training your self to do so.
Once you’re having and remembering dreams, the next step is to learn to realize you’re dreaming while doing so. Carlos Castanada was very famously told to focus on his hands and use that single image as the trigger to alert his conscious mind that is was in the dreaming “world.” This simple technique is effective since one almost always has their hands and con recognize them. With a few months of practice, many people are able to make their dream selves look at their hands.
When just starting out, when people realize they’ve looked at their own hands and that they’re dreaming, often they wake themselves up with all the excitement of having done it. If one is able to stay asleep and continue on with the dream, they will now have complete control over it, or as complete control as they are willing to accept.
Upon this realization, dreams tend to become far more vivid, and often are filled with much more richness than is typical. Colours are brighter, sounds are sweeter and you can remember the smell and taste of everything in a hyper-realistic way. It is often easier to reach states of meditation or prayer when one is able to exercise control over the sub-conscious mind.
All of this makes it far easier to control those negative thoughts and keep the mind focused upon constructive goals that you’ve identified as important. It may also help you refine those goals into things that really do make you happy. Becoming a lucid dreamer may be the most pleasant way of practising the sort of mind control that is the very heart of the Law of Attraction.

Why the Secret Won’t Always Work for Me, Chapter 3

December 17th, 2009

I used to be the most optimistic person you would ever run into a dozen years ago. The Law of Attraction was always working for me, it was a chain reaction of successes. But even back then it was not 100% all the time. I think it is because my intelligence is above average and I tend to analyze everything that comes my way. I am a big believer in positive thought as I do not subscribe to cable TV because of the amount of negativity in the news and such. At least with a newspaper or magazine I can choose to only read the positive stuff and not look at anything that is depressing.

I love to read stories like the ones in the book” Chicken Soup for the Soul” about how people were able to turn things around in their lives. I surround myself with magazines and books about people who have done some amazing things. But on the flip side of the coin I am always asking the question Why. In the book “The Secret” we are taught about attracting positive things in our lives and not to always ask why but to just trust that the good will happen if we just let them happen. Like attracts Like. Think only positive thoughts and the Universe will bring more positive into our lives.

It is hard for me to believe that God or some Supreme Being has always been there. I try to hypothesize that maybe God is life from another planet that is far more advanced than planet Earth. A lot of times I think that God is someone on the Enterprise in the Star Trek series like the character in The Next Generation ‘Q’. We are taught that the universe goes on forever but I am constantly thinking that it must end somewhere and if so what is beyond the End.

According to the Secret everything that is around today started out as just an idea. This is true because before anybody sets out to invent some device they must first have a thought or idea of what they are trying to create. The inventor of the automobile didn’t just one day put together a bunch of part and invent the first car without first having an idea of what he wanted to accomplish. Same with the light bulb. Everything must first start out as a thought of some sort.

Look at our planet. Back when the dinosaurs roamed it this planet was basically a huge chunk of rock with some forests or jungles on it. Look at all that has been created in the last million years, the last thousand years or even the last 50 years. All this has come from a huge chunk of rock. For me, it is hard to believe that we are the only life in the entire Universe. I am always thinking of this and trying to come up with explanations.

But on the other side of the coin I see so much good coming to those who trust in “The Secret”. They believe in the Law of Attraction and look where they are today. Everybody now has a book out that is basically “The Secret”. Joe Vitalle has “The Attractor Factor”, my wife just got me a video last night about this same kind of stuff by Deepak Chopra with Olivia Newton John. If I can just stop trying to find these answers, stop analyzing everything and trust that if I concentrate on positive thoughts that the universe will reward me with more positive in my life then I too will one day be there.

Why does everything have to come down to knowing exactly why things work the way they do? Why can’t I just trust in a higher power and put my faith in God and The Universe? I can’t see air, Gravity or electricity but I know they exist without a doubt so why can’t I trust in a higher supreme being without all this solid proof of its existence? Everything is a chain reaction the way when one bad thing starts to happen and many other similar bad things also are attracted the same is with the good. It rarely happens with only one good thing happening at a time.

We all need to learn how to trust in the things like the Law of Attraction in our lives. We don’t need to try and analyze everything because all this does is create a lot of doubts and prevent us from becoming everything that others are becoming. I’ve tried too many things with the analysis and doubts its about time that I try things the way that everybody else is doing and let the Law of Attraction enter into my life.

The Secret of a Thankful Heart

December 12th, 2009

So many times a door in life closes and we become angry, cursing our fate. We lose a job, our girlfriend or boyfriend leaves us, our house is virtually destroyed in a storm and we have to move. To The famous Roman orator, Cicero, who lived in the First Century, A. D., had this to say about attitude, “A thankful heart is not only the greatest Virtue, but the parent of all the other virtues.”
At first glance, this is a puzzling little saying, but since Cicero is probably one of the world’s first motivational speakers, perhaps it is worth taking seriously. Still, we must ask, what is a thankful heart- especially in a world where hearts are so easily broken, where calamity and disappointment for so many, lurks behind every corner and where life seems so easily to dispense failure and dissatisfaction and heartbreak?
It would seem that a thankful heart is possessed by a man or a woman who habitually looks at the world with a feeling of thanksgiving or gratitude despite what other people might think of the world about them. To obtain a thankful heart, one must either be slightly insane, given the nature of things- or have adopted an attitude of thankfulness, despite the normal course of things- for some over-riding reason. Cicero must; of course, being talking about someone who holds the latter opinion for he also says that a thankful heart is “the parent of all other virtues.”
Some say that the Law of Attraction operates by sending back to you whatever you send out to the universe. It would seem that it would best to be sending out thoughts from a heart disciplined to look at the good side of things. In other words; look at life by seeking the invisible opportunity in difficulties, seize the possibilities for growth in adversity, and to look at life’s situations from the standpoint of a thankful heart. For most, the habitual response to those situations is purely negative. But to others, who know the secret, there is always the possibility of a hidden advantage.
What could that be like? Well, obviously, if you lose your job, you could get a better job, one that you would never thought of looking for. If you lose a boyfriend or have a divorce, there could be something in store from you. Things that seem bad are not always the worst possible things. Sometimes they are just a way of the universe opening up new possibilities for you to enjoy.
Therefore, at the very least, when something unexpected happens, you can realize that you are stepping into the unknown. But, is there a way you can step into these unknown and perhaps seemingly dangerous waters- and still put your best foot forward? Perhaps, you can use the healing and strengthening power of gratitude. Gratitude is not just an emotion, but a power, a power that empowers you to move forward.
What should we be grateful for? Yes, we should be grateful for our jobs, our homes, our cars, our financial rewards-but, principally, we should be thankful for our friends and families, for the loving relationships that nurture and sustain us everyday. But, instead, of letting our gratitude be like the backdrop of painting, a colorful but distant background to the events and drama in our lives, Greg Hand suggests that it should be a very positive, very prominent part of our lives. How do we do this?
By daily, hourly, minute by minute, thanking God for the many wonderful things in our lives. In a recent video called The Secret, the movie focuses on the Law of Attraction, what it describes as the universe’s natural and lawful tendency to return back to us what is given it. So, if you give gratitude to the universe- gratitude for the abundance, love, happiness and peace in your life, for the manifold blessings you have-even if those seem somehow hiding under a shadow- the universe will return the attitude by bringing abundance, love, happiness and peace into your life. Sometimes it happens in a very surprising way.
The real secret, however; is to be thankful for your all the wonderful things you have in your life and to always seek the hidden advantage in the events that surround you. Dare to dream and make those dreams into your reality through your actions and thoughts

Turn Your Life Around With Mindfulness

December 11th, 2009

Mindfulness is an increasingly popular concept that is taking hold in the self-help and medical worlds. There is a great deal of interest in mindfulness practice among western clinical psychologists and psychiatrists as a natural way to reduce stress, anxiety, and chronic pain.

Mindfulness is awareness of one’s current thoughts, actions or motivations. It has roots in Buddhism, but the modern interpretation of mindfulness is a secular one that is not connected to any religion.

Mindfulness is the ability to intentionally create a “present moment” awareness without applying our personal filters or lenses of judgment to a situation.

We may do damage to our personal or business relationships when we’re quick to interpret events and interaction with others with an emotional response. The goal of mindfulness is to be open and non-judgmental about what’s happening externally as well as any emotions that are arising internally at the present moment.

When we move our awareness from thoughts about the future or past into the present moment, we are practicing mindfulness. The more frequently we can live in the present, the more peace we find in our inner and outer realities.

Our internal peace comes from the ability to notice and then quiet the self-talk or chatter going on in our mind. Once we become aware and tune into our mind chatter, it can be shocking to realize how much judgment and commentary is being produced there!

By the simple act of noticing the mind chatter, we have the ability to analyze it or stop it. We can observe the thoughts without judging them or ourselves for having them.

Thoughts are just that. They may not have any connection to reality or intent. If we understand that thoughts can be released, we can let go of the ones that are not positive, productive, or truthful.

Problems arise in our inner and outer realities when we get trapped by negative or untruthful self-talk. This happens when we react to our mind’s commentary without analyzing it first. Many of our thoughts may not be truthful or helpful to us in any way.

To be present in the moment, we should also be a witness to the positive and beautiful thoughts and sensations we experience. We can bring awareness to our breath, to the cool wind, to the warm water we bathe in, or to the complex taste of the food we eat.

When we approach our thoughts and emotions with curiosity as they come and go, we take control of our mind, instead of letting our mind take control of us.

Understand Manifestation: the Step-by-step Process Revealed

December 10th, 2009

Manifesting results we want in our lives–like more wealth, better health, happier relationships, etc.–can happen in two different ways.

(1) We can simply do nothing, wait, and hope that they arrive by pure happenstance, or

(2) we can be diligent each and every day to put effort into bringing the results we want closer to us.

I don’t know about you, but I’m setting up my tent in the second camp! This is because I know that manifestation is not a mystery. Manifesting our desires, which begin as fuzzy thoughts, into our everyday reality is a process we can master.

Knowledge, by itself, produces nothing. It’s the combination of knowledge, intent, desire, and action that really starts to make things happen.

It’s like having knowledge about how to grow a garden. If you want big, healthy vegetables, you certainly must have gardening knowledge. But only when you see yourself picking ripe fresh tomatoes and enjoying them so much, will the desire move you.

The desire to fulfill your vision takes you straight to the actions of buying, planting, and watering the seeds. Once this process is complete, the vegetable garden can become a reality.

There is a technique available right now for manifesting our dream life. Here’s the step-by-step process revealed for you:

1.         Determine the Ideal

Ask yourself, “in the ideal world, what would be different about my current situation” or “if I could have absolutely any outcome I wanted for this particular problem, what would that look like”. Be very specific and don’t get bogged down with you think may not be possible. Brainstorm at least 3 different answers. If you catch that little voice in the back of your head saying, “no, that’s not possible”, you must ignore it. Choose your favorite ideal.

2.         Virtual-ize the Ideal

Pretend the ideal has occurred. Close you eyes and imagine that it’s about to happen, that it does happen, and that it already happened. Feel grateful that the ideal did happen, and understand how it changes your life.

Of course you know that your ideal scenario did not happen in your “real” life, but that it is working in your “virtual” life. When you can exist in both your “real” life and your “virtual” life simultaneously, you are making progress. The more consistently you can exist with one foot in both worlds, the closer they will move toward each other.

3.         Realize the Ideal

As your “virtual” life gets very close to your “real” life, you will feel it so powerfully that you have no choice but to speak about it as truth. You will have no choice but to take actions toward your “virtual” life that begin to place it in your reality. You start to look forward to it so much that the joy of having your “virtual” life soaks through you.

4.         Manifest the Ideal

This is the point at which your “virtual” and “real” lives merge completely.

The real trick to Step #2, Virtual-ize the Ideal, is to spend time focusing on exactly what you want. Many people are so frustrated and upset about not having what they want, that they focus on their lack. This, of course, creates the complete opposite result that we want.

There are some powerful visualization tools that can be used to imprint your “virtual” life into your subconscious. This will speed up the time it takes to move into Step #3 and to accomplish Step #4.

So be sure to catch your mind sneaking off to think about the wrong things, and pull it back into concentration on the right things. For instance, always believe:

•           that you have a right to have what you want

•           that you are personally worthy of anything you want

•           that the world has plenty of whatever you want to go around

•           that there is a higher purpose in having what you want

•           that having what you want is attainable

•           that you are already grateful for your future abundance

•           that negative thoughts never serve you

Master the 4-step manifestation process, keep your thoughts focused on what is positive and productive, and you’ll be surprised how quickly you can manifest your dream life.

How to Manage Your Thoughts – Tips to Manifest Success

December 9th, 2009

The economic analysts are “living large” right now. Everyone is looking to them to project what’s going to happen to interest rates, the price of gas, the housing market, the stock market, shall I go further?

I’ve been around numbers all my life and am a fair to good analyst. If you gave me enough time on a computer, without my 3 and 5 year old daughters begging to see Hannah Montana, even I could make the numbers tell you wide variety of predictions that we’ve been hearing lately:

So what I conclude from the analysts is not their specific predictions, but an understanding of the message within their message…

We cannot be certain about where the economy or the universe in general is headed.Nor do we have control over what happens in the economy or the universe.

Instead of focusing on those things that are beyond my control, I choose to look at the things that are within my control.

Many a word has been written about recognizing and quieting negative thoughts. Less is said about the positive thoughts that come into our consciousness. Whether negative or positive, I believe it’s a myth that we can control our thoughts.

Instead, I believe that what we do with our thoughts, once they arrive in our mind, is well within our control. How we manage our thoughts dictates what happens in our lives and how we fit with the universe. This is certainly a critical component to the life that we are manifesting for ourselves.

I have a very dear friend that has helped me grow in all aspects of my life. His simple way of thinking about how to deal with thoughts can benefit each of us.  He believes that thoughts are like fire, and the tools that he has to manage these thoughts are a can of water and a can of gas.

He puts the water to the negative thoughts as they arise, dousing them immediately. But just as importantly, he puts the gas to the positive thoughts when they show up to help them multiply.

How can we manifest more good results in our lives?  Praise yourself for your positive thoughts. Let them reside in your mind. Feed them fuel until they spawn new positive thoughts.

Make sure you’ve got plenty of gas, even if the price goes to double digits! Your investment in yourself will pay handsomely in the future.

What Medicine Knows About Manifesting

December 9th, 2009

A placebo is Latin for I will please. It’s defined by Wikipedia as “a substance or procedure which a patient accepts as a medicine or therapy but which has no specific therapeutic activity for the condition. Any effect is thought to be based on the power of suggestion”.

The placebo effect is when, after a treatment, a patient’s symptoms become better or worse due to their expectation or belief that the treatment would work. The placebo effect occurs when a patient is treated in conjunction with the suggestion from an authority figure or from acquired information that the treatment will aid in healing and the patient’s condition improves. This effect has been known since the early 20th century”.

The word nocebo is Latin for I will harm. The nocebo effect is defined by Wikipedia as, “(occurring when) a patient who disbelieves in a treatment may experience a worsening of symptoms. This effect … can be measured in the same way as the placebo effect, e.g., when members of a control group receiving an inert substance report a worsening of symptoms”.

So why discuss medicine in an article about manifesting your desires?  I would encourage all readers to be mindful of what medicine has known since the early 20th century!

Medical science has demonstrated that what we believe has a massive impact on what happens in our bodies. If we believe that good things will come to us, they will show up.  If we believe the opposite, then undesirable things manifest in our lives.

Just as we protect against putting toxic substances into our bodies, we should also protect against any toxins entering our minds. This would be any of the many things that are able to negatively impact our belief system.

I experienced a downright attack on my own belief system earlier this week. I walked into the bank to make a deposit and stepped into line. One of the major news channels (possibly the worst attack on our belief systems), playing on a monitor over the teller, was detailing the decline of our housing market.

One of the ways that I generate revenue is by flipping houses; so I took the bait. I listened to every painful detail about how many people are being affected, how bad the market has been, and that the outlook for housing is very dismal.

After making the deposit I realized that I was experiencing doubt about a house I was to purchase later that day. I called a friend to discuss my fears. He asked, “how many houses have you sold in this down market?” I replied, “I’ve sold six in the last year.”  He responded, “were they profitable?” Almost embarrassed, I said, “of course they were.”

My belief system had just been set back on the right track. If we are not diligent about taking in information that serves us, we will absorb information that harms us. Is the information you are feeding your brain a placebo or a nocebo?

Is Selfishness Healthy?

December 8th, 2009

Wouldn’t you agree that we are all selfish to some degree? Many equate selfishness with self-preservation. But those who are seeking a higher spiritual existence or improved emotional health should analyze selfishness and its root causes carefully. When we are concerned primarily with our own interests and benefits regardless of others, we are being selfish. Selfishness means that we serve our own pleasure regardless of how our actions affect others. The opposite of selfishness is altruism, which is the self-less concern for the welfare of others.A selfish person doesn’t have room in their thoughts or considerations for others. They are completely self-absorbed. To be self-absorbed is to have tunnel vision on yourself and your own personal needs. In short, a selfish person’s entire world is completely about themselves. They don’t have the ability to imagine the thoughts and feelings of others. They have little or no ability to empathize.A selfish person feels overly entitled to have their idea of a “perfect” life. They crave attention and have a need to be seen and heard more than anyone else. They become oblivious to what others need or say. Selfish people are like children in that they have not yet learned to balance giving with taking. They view others only as a means to get what they want. And they demonstrate drastic mood swings related to whether they get their way or not. There’s elation when they “win” and despair and arrogance when their demands are not met.Selfish people become threatened when attention is paid to others. They have difficulty letting other people win, get accolades, or be admired. They can not listen to someone’s opinions, stories, or advice without turning it back to themselves. They are not truly sincere when they wish someone else success. Selfish people have a need for control and are not willing to reach compromises with others. When they need something they’re willing to trample over others to make sure they get it. Cutting in line, storming into a room unannounced, or having a temper tantrum are a few of the many types of selfish behaviors one can exhibit.Let’s be clear about what selfishness is not. It’s not self-promotion, self-respect, self-admiration, self-esteem, or self-love. These terms describe behavior that most of us consider healthy, productive, and not harmful to others. Why are selfish people selfish? The answer is that they feel deprived of something. This deprivation may exist in either their consciousness or in their subconscious mind. They believe that they got “the wrong end of the stick” and now someone (or everyone) owes them payback. There is a sense of entitlement and expectation that justifies their bad behavior. The feeling of deprivation drives the selfish to behave in ways that they believe will insure the end of deprivation. To others, their behavior could be described as arrogance. The roots of selfishness usually come from unhealthy or negative childhood experiences that shape our thought patterns. For example, children of divorced parents can become selfish because they find the love of a missing parent only through the gifts that they receive from them. So they make demands of the parent to substitute for the parent’s time and attention. The child may discover that their demands are met, and so they learn that they can easily manipulate the parent.Do you recognize some or many of the characteristics of selfishness in yourself? If so, you have accomplished a very important first step with that simple recognition. Each of us must take responsibility for our inner motivations and external behaviors. We are living a healthy and full life only when we are able to consider what’s truly best for others, instead of how others can be of benefit to us.How would you like to manifest your ideal life by tapping the power of YOUR subconscious mind? The New Rules of Wealth Manifestation

December 7th, 2009

There’s a lot of information, suggestions, and tips available for successfully manifesting the wealth that you want to have in your life. There are too many books, articles, blog posts, movies, audio programs, podcasts, radio shows, etc. to name that focus on money manifestation.

Why is the topic of wealth manifestation so darn popular? Could it be that as humans, we are genetically programmed to always be seeking our financial “highest and best use”? This is actually a real estate term that refers to what will generate the highest net monetary return to a property owner over a period of time. For some properties, “highest and best use” could be a 20 story apartment building that generates lots of rental income. For other properties it could be a subdivision comprised of 100 small lots. These types of options may be extremely profitable for the property owner; but what if he or she simply wants to build a single home to live in and enjoy the surroundings and views offered there? Our lives are similar in that we have to balance our personal “highest and best use”, with what we truly desire. Many of us are capable of working 80 hours a week at one, two, or three jobs to create more disposable income. This has become the cultural norm for many Americans. But whether this suits our ultimate life purpose and deepest desires must be carefully analyzed. We all need money to survive and I would argue that we all need money to thrive. Money is a solution and a tool to carry us through our unique life journey. But the new rules of wealth manifestation require that we become much more introspective about why we want wealth. I know many people who mistakenly believe that becoming super-wealthy would solve all their problems. One in particular has said to me about a friend who retired early after selling a company for many millions, “look at him, he doesn’t have a care in the world”. If we think that wealth will bring us more peace, freedom from all worry, great health, and perfect relationships, we’re going to be sorely disappointed! Any wealthy person, who has reached a high level of self-development, will tell you that money gives you the opportunity to move your focus away from the mundane. What I mean is that when you don’t have to spend precious mental energy worrying about how to get food or pay for the roof over your head, you can focus on higher purposes. Most importantly, having money gives you the chance to make a difference in other people’s lives. So getting clear on what money will and will not do for you is important. I realize that this can be a difficult exercise if your point-of-view is and has always been one of lack. Discover how your talents and passions can be used to solve a problem for others. Think about what you already do well that could add value to what other successful people are doing well.Lack of money equals a lack of problem-solving.
